Jim Chatelain (b. 1947, Findlay, OH) is a painter and sculptor. He moved to Detroit in 1967, where he attended Wayne State University. Exhibitions include the New Museum’s 1978 inaugural exhibition, “Bad Painting,” the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, the Detroit Institute of Arts, Marianne Boskey (New York), among others. He lives and works in Detroit, Michigan and Delhi, New York.
